In 1999, Michael Foley was working in the food industry and saw that the human service sector was often neglected and overcharged on their purchases. He followed his instinct and founded FoodSource Plus by garnering a few regional and independent food distributors, starting in the Northeast. These distributors agreed to longer credit terms, smaller order sizes and lower pricing. Michael was able to attract human service agencies to join FoodSource Plus and benefit from the savings he had negotiated on their behalf.
